Xavier Wang: A rising talent
Xavier Wang is an exceptional student-athlete at Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas—one of the most competitive academic environments in the state. Ranked in the top 5 percent of his class, Xavier manages a rigorous academic schedule while dedicating over 30 hours a week to training as an elite artistic swimmer.
For two consecutive years, he has earned a coveted spot on the USA Artistic Swimming National Team, representing the nation at premier international competitions such as the Pan American Championships and the upcoming World Aquatics Championships. His athletic performance is marked by extraordinary discipline, strength, and artistry.
Outside the pool and classroom, Xavier channels his creativity into the arts and builds technical skills through programming, reflecting a strong intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel. His journey is a testament to resilience, time management, and the pursuit of excellence—qualities that make him stand out as a future leader in both academics and athletics.

Academic Excellence
• Top 5% of class at Tompkins High School, a highly competitive academic institution in Texas.
• Enrolled in the Gifted & Talented (GT) program with consistently high STAAR and GPA performance
• Demonstrates strong interest in STEM, particularly computer programming, math and applied technology.
• Excellent time management and self-discipline, managing rigorous academic load alongside national-level training.
Artistic Swimming Highlights
Year 2025
- Selected for the USA Artistic Swimming National Team for the second consecutive year
- Only male athlete in the entire U.S. Youth National Team for artistic swimming
- Will represent the United States at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Greece, one of the most elite international competitions in the sport
- Earned multiple national titles in U.S. Artistic Swimming Championships, continuing his winning streak from previous years
- Trains over 30 hours weekly, demonstrating elite-level discipline, endurance, and artistry
Year 2024
- Officially chosen as the sole male in youth national team ( USA Artistic Swimming | Youth National Team )
- Represented USA to compete in International PanAm in Lima, Peru and won second place for both male solo and mxied duet.
- Junior Olympic Nationals: 1st in 13-15 boys solo and 13-15 mixed duet, 13-15 technical duet
Year 2023
- International PanAm: 1st in youth boys solo
- Junior Olympic Nationals: 1st in youth male solo, youth mixed duet, youth boys duet
Year 2022
-Junior Olympic nationals: 1st in boys solo and mixed duet.
